It’s the 200th day since Antonin Scalia died.  So how many Supreme Court members do we have?  Still 8?  Hm. What’s that about?

Somebody on TV raised the question whether a Republican Senate wouldn’t just keep it 8-8 through a Clinton presidency. Some on the panel pooh-poohed that, you can’t keep it 8-8 for a year! But somebody chimed in: “well someone else could die!  Then it’s uneven again.”
