I’m not going to recommend anything by Maureen Dowd very often, to me she’s the Chris Matthews of print – a little too quirky and obsessed with the hangups in her own head that have nothing to do with anything anybody else thinks.  But this NY-centric navel gaze of how the Trumps and Clintons are perceived in NY is interesting.

I’ve thought for a while that an effective ad for Clinton could have been showing clips of Trump on TV and radio saying glowing things about Hillary Clinton as recently as 2008 with the pictures of them at his wedding, juxtaposed with the venum he spews about her now and his golum-like appearance at the 2nd debate.  MoDo kind of writes that ad here.
