So two pieces of good news as his Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto hotel goes into receivership:
1. failure for Trump and all his Trumpkins;
2. Toronto goes to number 1 on my Trump escape plan
On Tuesday, a Canadian bankruptcy judge placed the glass-and-granite building into receivership, just four years after Trump and his children cut the ribbon at its grand opening. Once it’s auctioned off, whether or not Trump is the leader of the free world by then, his name may well vanish from its marquee.
He’s been on message for the last week, sticking to the prompter, no 3AM tweets. He even told us why in a speech the other day as he said outloud what his inner voice was telling him
“We are going to win the White House, gonna win it. It’s feeling like it already, isn’t it? We’re going to be nice and cool, nice and cool, stay on point, Donald, stay on point,” Trump said Wednesday during a rally in Pensacola, Fla.
“No sidetracks Donald, nice and easy.”
So somebody finally beat him up enough and he’s actually staying on the meds and not blowing up daily.
But I bet if Hillary and surrogates start talking about his hotel going bankrupt, Mount Donald might erupt.
