It’s like he’s a different person now. I don’t trust it. Any more than I trust any conservative, libertarian or Republican that has a moment of clarity on a particular issue. Tigers don’t change their stripes, even if they seem tame for the moment. But these comments from Glenn Beck are as surprising as anything I can remember from someone that was as virulently anti-Obama as you could get 8 years ago.
That was the old Beck, he insists: “I did a lot of freaking out about Barack Obama.” But, he said, “Obama made me a better man.” He regrets calling the President a racist and counts himself a Black Lives Matter supporter. “There are things unique to the African-American experience that I cannot relate to,” he said. “I had to listen to them.”
