The top one is from 2009, the bottom from 2017.  The 2009 picture and has a much deeper depth of focus.  Note the round building on the right side of the mall.   It was about the half way mark in 2009 and the end of the line in 2017.  The crowd in 2017 is seated only half as far down the mall as 2009 and it’s much less dense all the way down.

It’s clearly a non-generous fraction of the 2009 crowd.  They should have hired extras like they did at the 2015 announcement.

But of course the Ministry of Propaganda will use the 2009 photos for all of his stationery.
