I think we might even get some Republicans on board now.  At least for the very necessary minimum of a special prosecutor or independent commission to look into the Russia links.  I know I feel so ungrateful that Trump has finally relieved us of Comey, who did Hillary so wrong.  To think they thought they’d get praise for this, and cover from Dems. because Comey screwed up.  It’s like the number one super villain in town took out the number two super villain in town.*  It just leaves the playing field to the guy you fear most, not exactly a relief.

While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.

* I don’t actually think Comey was even in the top 10 super villains in D.C.  That’s Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and Trump’s cabinet.  Then Comey, but even then, he’s just really a guy who made mistakes, maybe not even partisan in nature, or maybe just subconsciously partisan.
