US Votes Against UN Resolution Condemning Death Penalty for Blasphemy, Adultery and Same-Sex Relations
It merely condemned the use of the death penalty for acts like blasphemy or bi-sexuality. We’re against it. So is Japan. We’re stupid, what’s up with them?
The resolution passed 27-13, with seven nations abstaining. America joined just 12 other countries – among them Burundi, China, Egypt, India, Iraq, Japan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia – in voting against the United Nations Human Rights Council’s resolution.
Hopefully, this would not get through the Senate. Once again, we don’t have any real problems in the country so our wise Congress has plenty of time to deny women autonomy over their own bodies and get between them and their doctors.
Let’s all remember that healthcare is not a right, but gun ownership is. The stupid it rides a powerful steed!!
