It’s an anonymous source at the end of the piece but all along it’s been like this.  People who have reason to know, are all hair on fire, they make statements about things looking pretty bad and then later those statements and their hair on fire behavior is borne out by revelations.  It’s just a matter of time.

British spies were first to spot Trump team links with Russia

One source suggested the official investigation was making progress. “They now have specific concrete and corroborative evidence of collusion,” the source said. “This is between people in the Trump campaign and agents of [Russian] influence relating to the use of hacked material.”

Between Flynn, Manafort and Carter Page, the gang that couldn’t collude straight, it’s just a matter of time.  I would be surprised if there’s a G. Gordon Liddy here, willing to go stick his hand in the flame or to jail for anybody.  And their stories keep changing – this Carter Page is an almost comical character who gives a different answer every time you ask the question.

Manafort and Flynn have both now registered as foreign agents, retroactively.  How does that work?
